In the Val di Nova you are surrounded by greenery, woods and apple orchards. In the centre of Merano and environs but far away from the tourist centres, there are excellent public transport connections to Merano, Avelengo and Scena.

Lots of free space and nature: The first promise is our unique location in the middle of the greenery of 45,000 square metres of our own apple orchards, away from the highly frequented tourist communities. Nevertheless, you can reach the centre of Merano in just a few (driving) minutes.

At the Kiendl we focus on rest and relaxation to allow our guests a relaxing and enjoyable time out. 

Old and new have been combined here with sensitivity: in the hotel near Merano you will find traditional elements such as the Tyrolean "Stuben" from the 19th century and modern accents such as the dining rooms in alpine style, furnished with South Tyrolean materials such as oak wood and Sarner porphyry.

The gourmet cuisine at Kiendl delights with freshness and creativity and is accompanied by exquisite South Tyrolean wines. At pleasant temperatures, you can find a place on the garden terrace with a wonderful view of the mountains.

The host tradition of our ancestors has continued for over 450 years. Even today, the Kiendl is still a family-run hotel with personal guest care. We would also like to thank our long-standing qualified staff for their valuable contribution.

Our two pools are designed for pure well-being. With pleasant water temperatures and an infinite panoramic view you can relax and daydream. From our own spring in the Haflinger mountains, pure, crystal clear spring water flows into the Kiendl and is available to you as a thirst quencher at any time.

With the Citybus you can easily reach the centre of Merano, the Haflinger mountains and the village of Scena in a few minutes. The hiking pleasure also starts directly from the hotel: 500 km of hiking trails around the Kiendl entice you into the open nature.
